What is it like living in modern-day society during a global pandemic? Well, you can probably answer that yourself, but this series is my story about my transition from modern life to total isolation.
As soon as the Pandemic struck, I was sent home. To me home is 600 miles away, so with travel restrictions, home to me was my studio apartment alone with my two cats. Alone. Completely alone.
As a creative, I desire to create, but when you are cramped inside your own living quarters, away from your on campus studio. No supplys, no materials. You have to buck or bust. I descided that the best way for me to make art AND store it within my living space, that my work needed to be compact. Digital to be specific.
With my thesis semester i te near future I told muyself to experiement with digital media. I have absolutley no background in it and had to teach myself all of the ins and outs.
As the Pandemic swept over the nation like a dutiful maid, I began to slunk into cabin fever (not a real fever, I was COVID free) so I realized that I could use this medium as a way to virtually escape my current situation. So in this series you will find yourself lookig at 3 seperate series documenting my growth and sanity inside my isolated home.
